My Wardrobe

Unknown territory dipping my toe into the pink pool. Read more about my doubts of this dress over at Minerva, link further below. I like trying new things and this is one of them. When trying new things for myself I always try having a backup plan for if it turns out I really don’t like it. In this case, it is my pink-loving sister to wear as a maternity wear. But I’m afraid I’m keeping this for myself, sorry […]

My first pink make!*

Hello lovely people! On April 14th 1990 at 15.45, a little girl was born. Fast forward twenty-something years, she started to sew and loved it! That is where I presume you come in the picture. As you might have guessed, that girl was me. I’m turning 30 and I want to celebrate it with all the sewing people that cross my way. For the occasion, I have gathered some of my favourite sewing brands to host a sewing challenge for […]

Prepare for the challenge!

Dolly Duck
I finally made myself the Carolyn pajamas! I first made the pattern in 2016. The idea was to make a matching set for my sister and I. I made my sisters PJs, and my fabric is still in the stash… But now I finally manage to take the time for myself. It hasn’t been prioritized as I’m not wearing it outside and when I’m home I haven’t had the habit of changing into PJs. But ever since I made these, […]

Pajamas party!*

Te Fiti
First of all, I cut my hair short!!!!! I don’t think it has ever been this short ever since I turned double digits. It has been a bit of an adjustment, even though it’s a long bob cut it’s short. Now I just need to figure out what I can do with it. For this months make I made myself this snuggly knitted dress. I’m on my way of making all the knitted dresses! CLICK HERE TO READ THE BLOG […]

Another make is up on Minerva’s blogger network. This month I made myself another pinafore. Previously, I’ve made the Bibi pinafore from Tilly and the Buttons book Stretch, my Jiminy Cricket. I can’t say that I fell in love with the garment right away, but lately, it has grown on me. Although I need to do some adjustment on my next make I know now what those are. Yes, I’m terrible at making muslins. Don’t judge. CLICK HERE TO READ […]

Another pinafore under my belt*

Wow, I’m surprised that it’s been five months since Norwegian Constitution Day. The sun isn’t shining nowadays, but time for some reminiscing. This was my outfit this year. Since I don’t have a traditional Norwegian bunad, I make myself a fancy outfit each year. And this year, a jumpsuit is made instead of a dress. I made a straight US size 10, but for my next make, I think a size 8 bodice would be more fitting. There was a […]
