This skirt here I made back in November, took the photos then as well, but for some reason I didn’t blog about it. Well well, I’m doing it now!

(Does anyone else LOVE Angelina Jolies character as Maleficent? I’m in aw!)

This is my first maxi skirt. To be honest I’m not crazy in love with it. I’m short so maxi skirt does tend to make me look even shorten than what I already am. The reason I bought this pattern in the first place was because I wanted to look good in a maxi and the pattern is without a doubt a gorgeous pattern, don’t you think? I just don’t feel that comfortable in it.

I made it straight up in a size 38 and it’s a bit too long, so I always have to wear the skirt with heels. I guess I can use it in a more formal setting, because I think it’s a bit too fancy for everyday wear. Or am I wrong?

I like how big it is though, swish swosh! On this picture under here I some how pushed my bum out so that’s the reason it looks shorter on the back.

All in all, I love the pattern – but maybe in a shorter version next time. I think that could work, don’t you? Right now I just don’t know what to do with this skirt..
